The SVZ quick actuating closure from HEAT gas technologies provides the possibility for fast opening and closing of the pressure equipment.
The primary application for example is at separators and pig launchers.

Safety steps:

First Safety device: “Safety Screw” prevents the opening and a slowly release of residual pressure through a small hole by generating whistle noise. As long as this screw has not been dismantled, the QOC is mechanically blocked and can’t be opened.
Second Safety device: Special “Closure Catching Tooth Design”
Third Safety device: “Closure arrester” prevents unintended closing of the opened cover during maintenance works inside the vessel. This closure arrester needs to be lifted manually in order to allow closing of the closure again
