Pressure-liquefied Ammonia NH3
Also known as ammonia liquefied under pressure, anhydrous ammonia, moisture-free ammonia, NH3, etc.
At temperatures below –33°C ammonia turns liquid at atmospheric pressure. Increasing the pressure by itself suffices to liquefy the gas: at 20°C a pressure of 7.5 bar is adequate.
In its pressure-liquefied state anhydrous ammonia requires special conditions for storage and handling.
